The article said the deck's pilot ended one game on turn four with a 50 ATK

.
As for how that can happen ...

has 8 ATK.
If he plays two Savage Beatdowns, a Flying Kick and a Mega-Blast (unlikely, but possible), he's 25 ATK.
Play Cosmic Radiation to ready him (I'm not sure if that's even allowed ... the attack mightn't even be legal if he does that) and then Team Tactics himself to give him 50 ATK.
So in the end you'd need a minimum of seven cards from 12 cards drawn (not count one or two you could nab with Alfred, or the cards you would have seen if you mulliganed in the first place) ... and hope like hell there's no Sticky Situation, Fast Getaway, Swift Escape or similar.
Seems a bit too cute to me.
Edit - I've just checked the Comprehensive Rules and it looks like once the legality of an attack is checked at the start of the Attack Sub-Step, if it passes that check, the legality will not be checked again.
So maybe it does work.
