What are the better League characters that could possibly work in a deck?

Ubu's good coz u got Stronghold and u can seed ur deck with many a 1-2 drops, n of course the staples of the deck 7 drop Shiva and 8 drop ras, i suggest playing my beloved so u can play cops, alfred, harvey and press the attack shiva on ur init goes a long way to getting you to turn 8, also gives you options for 6 drops. Tower of Babel + 5 drop Lady Shiva is nuts good but means u have to replace her come turn 7. good luck buildin league of ass sam k. prove us all wrong.

I dunno but you want to make full use of Tower of Bable and Dual Nature. Those cards are very good. Mountain Stronghold is good as well. The characters just ssem bad. BANE-5 seems ok.

I am looking at a my beloved deck. I am actually looking at a clench virus deck. The use of Alfred can get the bits I need. I think it has potential to beat alot of decks. Dont tell anyone thou it is serect tech.....

I think there is potenial there. The GK have a lot of searchers and you need the League for the plauge thing to work. It can kill alot of weenies and has a lot of hand destruction against the slower decks.

It's also the best and only reason for anything Vs IMO.

The better reason would be "Because i want to win" or "because i want to have fun"

serzly dude follow the KnightLight template and aim to press the attack 7 drop Lady Shiva and win with 8 drop Ras on opponent's init, i think it's a good goal to work towards, that way you can also play 8 character tutors and play 5 drop Batman.

This is probably crap since I just slapped it together in two minutes, but I hope it's a bit of a primer to add to the discussion.
I tend to agree with Ray that the Knight Lite template is where it's at.
I think Batman is better, but you'd probably want Bane to activate the My Beloved and to use Tower of Babel against Titans and such.

Edit - Maybe Assassin Initiate would be a better option for realising the team up. Plus it allows you to kill annoying opposing Alfreds or Borises (what the heck is the plural of Boris). Then you could still run the much better Batman (5).
I figure the deck shouldn't bother with a four-drop, but if I did Batgirl would be the shot.

Problem with Bane is that he has loyality. So without a cheaper League dude you will never get the teamup before turn 6 with Ra.

While Batman is better, Bane is mandatory (unless I'm missing something) as he is the only League character in the deck that doesn't a recruitment requirement (Ra's 6 has loyalty, Shiva needs Ra's, and Ra's 8 also has loyalty).

Oh yeah, that really would make Bane (5) suck then, wouldn't it?
Scrap that idea. I think the random Assassin is a better way to go anyway.

Edit - Hang on ... TCS is right. Bane (5) doesn't have loyalty.

Sorry guys I was thinking of the wrong one. You will need Bane then and hope you draw one before turn 5 or get a mountain stronghold. I think I would also have a Avolon in there just in case.

I dont like 4 Harveys I think I would rather Puppet masters/Commissner and some more cops.

I've been playing with Harvey (that sounds pretty wrong) in the Knight Lite deck and I think he's amazing.
Plus he's the only exhausting enabler in the decklist I posted (I'll revise it in a second). Otherwise you'd have to use Clocktower and then you have to run all your cops in the support row.
Oracle could be a hot little number in this deck, but I think she'd eat into the cop numbers too much.

As much as I hate to admit it I dont think the clech will work. By the time I get all the bits I want in there my cop count is around 4 which is not enough. I will give your version a run (with minor modifications ) and see how if plays.

anyways, thnx ike for spending the time to put a deck list up, at least we can all talk TO something now, i think the possibility of losing Lady Shiva (5) and Ras (6) late game could leave u at a slight disadvantage. because of the tutors you could afford to run 4x5 drops, 4x6, 1x7 and 1x8. i'd say 5 is bats, 6 dick G, 7 lady shiva n the superstar 8 drop ras. u may wanna cut strongholds for barbara too. she the nuts.

u could probably get a league deck to work, but why wopuld you want to when there are just better decks out there. Its like Sentinels. It works but there are infi other decks that are a billion times better.

They arent called league of ass for nothing.

do we really want a whole world of TT and CE players?? we can at least explore how decks work and they're match ups. how can we expand the meta or evolve the game if we just sit on decks and not try new ones. even if they seem bad.

respect to ppl like vanwolfgang and honest, they put they're necks out playing decks they luv but rn't necessarily top tier.

Variety is good and if we all stuck to the decks that seem the best there would be very little innovation.
I mean, Fearsome Five suck, right? Why not just play Doom?

I think Vs is one of those games that allows players to express themselves to a high degree.
Ultimately, I think you should play cards that you like, because you'll play better with them ... keeping in mind that pet cards that doing nothing but pee on the carpet, chew your shoes, shed hair, vomit on your lounge, crap all over the place and cause painful game losses should probably not be housed within your deck but instead should be smacked on the nose with a rolled up newspaper. I may be digressing here.

It is not always about winning and losing. Sometimes it is about having fun.

I think mono-LoA is just missing that little extra something.
The tutor-a-thon available in GK, plus Fizzle, plus "Cop Control" might be that extra something.
If nothing else, it gives you a bit of stall to survive until you can crush your opponent by Pressing Lady Shiva (sounds dirty, doesn't it) and dropping Big Daddy Ra's.
