And I quote:
Web of Spider-Man Sneak Previews aren?t the only thing going on this weekend. Off on the far side of the globe Australia is hosting the very first ever $10K event ever held outside of the United States. This isn?t the only reason it?s significant though. The other important thing here is that it will be the test of the one game match system. Well, at least that?s the rumor.
Now remember, Australia is many, many hours AHEAD of California. So, sometime late Friday night we should begin to see the $10K coverage appear on Metagame. It?ll be interesting to see live updates from a different country, which means they come in when we want to sleep. Of course, at the same time, it?s the beginning of the hotly debated one game match experiment. This is an experiment I?m firmly in favor of, and one that I hope works amazingly well. Therefore, instead of sleeping I?ll be awake and watching for the coverage.
Whew, this is the first time I've ever heard of Americans paying close attention to the results of an Australian tournament.
Good times!
