Belasco Sauce
Limbo? A picture of Belasco? There must be a hot story behind this one. This is where the writer would explain the flavour of the cards, but my good friend Geoff Wikipedia suggested that by clicking this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belasco , you can find out for yourself. Enjoy.
...And after all, You're my Underworld!
Well, seeing as the entire set is still unknown, we can only speculate the powerful synergies that could be available. So here are some bold predictions of it's use:
1. Revenge Squad/Underworld. Massacre, Alien Bounty Hunter would be a key part of the deck, helping you fill your KO pile and clear your opponent's board. Insanity!
2. Morlocks/Underworld. Stack the effects so you gain the life before your evasion characters recover. Healer in plot twist form? Using Last Laugh for the ultimate endurance swings? Sign me up!
3. League of Assassins/Underworld. Another means of keeping multiple KO'ed characters in play, especially when your Lazarus Pit's have all been Global Domination'ed. You can already taste the power of having a completely stunned board with a 14/14 Bronze Tiger, Benjamin Turner and a 21/15 Dr. Ebenezer Darrk, Original Leader of the League. Seiobo?s Garden and Pit of Madness, welcome to the Ban List in 2007?
4. Checkmate/Underworld. A whole new mean of protecting your kings. Allows you to save multiple stunned kings in one turn. Who knows what people will do to not auto-lose a game?
5. Secret Six/Underworld. Using Scandal, to set up multiple copies of In Limbo, Lex Luthor <> Mockingbird, Evil Exile to put extra stunned characters into play and the Manilla favourite It?s Not Over Yet, you can set up a powerful endurance gain engine. Glock had better watch it?s back!
6. New Gods/Underworld. Dog of War will always be online. Think about it!
7. Anti-Matter/Underworld. Save up your stunned characters like a ?bank?, and ?withdraw? some late game direct endurance burn with Nero, Qwardian Puppet. Where?s Paul Ross?
8. Manhunter.Underworld. Using In Limbo to keep all your stunned man-bots (?) about, you can now abuse Rebellion on Oa to it?s maximum potential. No man escapes the ?Ban?-hunters?
9. Unaffiliated/Underworld. Prevent Neron from KO?ing your adjacent characters, then use generic recovery plot twists, such as Lanterns in Love or Revitalise, the very next turn to wreak havok on your opponent?s board. Question your own existence!
10. Teen Titans/Underworld. Kole, Kole Weathers ?combo?s? really well with In Limbo, and in late game you can let all the characters go to the KO pile to fuel a massive Phantasm, Danny Chase! One-Two, Oh My God!
In Silver Age there will be a whole slew of new powerful Underworld affiliated characters to use this plot twist with, but remember some of the past legacy luminaries that might make their way into a mono-deck such as Witch Woman, Linda Littletrees, Mortician, Toussaint Morrow and Mephisto, Lord of Hell. It?s only by remembering the past that we can stop making the same mistakes in the present.
Well with that, I'm out of ideas and have to wrap this up. You're probably all thinking about making a deal with the Devil to crack 4 In Limbo's at your pre-release this weekend. But remember to be careful what you wish for! Yeah!
