I heard a rumour at the local store last night that apparently in MOR the X-Men were "left wanting" on purpose. Essentially to drive people into the other affiliations as UDE knew that almost everyone would want to play X-Men badly.

Also contained with-in the rumour was that apparently the X-Men will be getting stronger in upcoming sets (not sure if they meant Web of Spiderman though).

Personally I look forward to the day.

What I have read was that in testing either x-men were dramicially overpowered or sub-par. They obviously went with the slightly sub-par charaters although they are going to be getting stronger in future sets. Have a read of the road table interview at vsuniverse.com as they talk about this very issue with R&D

I wonder how they'll handle power levels when (not if) they do the JLA team. Those guys are off the charts as a team ... think, basically the best of every hero team in the DC universe.

I think they will end up like x-men a little underpowered. I mean Flash, Lantern, Wonder Women, Supes, Batman and the green guy who's name I can never remeber. It is insane the power that these guys COULD have. I am keen to see the Wonder Women card especially considering how good Wondergirl is in Teen Titans.
