Just want to check - with the $10k tournamnets, is it similar to a GP in that you have a Day 1, a cutoff, and then a Day 2 for those who make the cutoff? Or is it just one big all day event?

Apart from the Top 8, Sunday at the 10K event will see another PCQ($1000US as prizes again!)for those not top 8ing the main game.

This was suggested to Zed during the initial discussions to encourage players to travel longer distances and make a weekend event of it. Chris, being the guru that he is, agreed, made a few arrangements and presto! It is.

The usual PCQ format will run, of course, giving sealed fns a chance to strutt their stuff.

I've got a good feeling about this event!

i personally think that $10,000 isn;t enough. The only way to keep the kids off crack and Malaq (or the dungeon in winstons case) is to have the all new $10,000.50 tournament. This will mean that people will get more money for winning and the splits will be higher... cool huh?

Either that or the lucky person in 21st place gets $0.50 as a prize.
