Just trying to get thoughts on what most people think will be strong in Melbourne.

So far 21 players from Sydney are coming down. This will be a fine event!

You people are speaking about metagame i dont even have a VS deck yet; anyone have a suggestion whats the cheapest and easiest deck to build that will fare resonably well in the current Austrailian meta?
Im in the process of building a Curve Sentinel and SF deck (the non clone variety) deck but i just cant source the last few cards i need. There should be a shop in melbourne dedicated to VS and nothing else

I would like to propose that the word "Arkham" be edited out in all posts and instead replaced with "Teen Titans".

Either that or just ban the word all together.

"Inmates" would also need to be banned.

Also "AI".

i just went 1-1 against arkham tonight, i think i may be in trouble,

but just like any deck if AI come out they are devastating (a NPE for sure), at least they have a goal they work towards.

as for cheap decks that are tier 1, curve sentinels is ur best chance.

Straight Arkham, of course.

As for cheap decks, Teen Titans without Garth, Terra or USS Argus mightn't be capable of winning the tournament, but you'd be competitive against a lot of decks.
You could build around Arsenal Abuse (Press the Attack, Twin Firearms and all that jazz).
Otherwise, I'm sure if you posted a thread asking to at very least borrow the remaining cards you need for Curve Sentinels for the 10K you'd get them. I don't have a lot of the requred cards, but I'd lend you anything I had that you needed.

Similarly, I could just lend you my Arkham deck - look above, they're odds on to win (I could also lend you Knight Light or Teen Titans, but I've already promised to lend cards from these decks to someone else if they need them, so that's not an option unless it turns out on the day that they don't need them).

I must say the initial stages of polling have certainly raised a few eyebrows at The Asylam, with the Arkham Team Up vote in front.

That being said, what team will be teamed up with the inmates(albeit diluting the raw power of the Arkham affiliation)?

If worse comes to worse I'll play TT w/o Garths and Savage Beatdowns etc. I still have some time to source/borrow the cards I need.
I really need Bastions (which are for some reason extremely hard to find) and thats about it basically to complete my CS deck.

I've got one Bastion I could lend you. Could maybe get one more locally if Pez is feeling generous.
Back at the 10K in Sydney they were selling for $6 each and that was expensive.
How times change.


Edit - Also it looks like Knight Light has been freed up and I might be able to lend you a Titans deck (or elements thereof) with everything but two Garths and two Terras (oh and I don't play with Beast Boy or Donna Troy - Wondergirl), although I have one of the latter).
